THE ANTI-INTRUDER TECHNOLOGY OF SHOCK DETECTION

Concept

The technology of shock detection allows for the detection of all intrusion attempts by analysing the vibrations caused by the intruder on the surface on which the detector is fixed.

There are two main technologies of intruder detection by cable:

FUNCTIONING OF A SHOCK DETECTOR BY MICROPHONIC CABLE

A coaxial cable under high voltage is attached to the fence. The Central Unit (PM) sends intrusion detection heartbeats at a constant speed within the central conductor. The central conductor emits an electronic field inside the cable.

THE SHOCKS DETECTION FOR FENCE

When the cable is hit, the sensitive wires move in the electronic field. Thanks to the effects of induction, the sensitive wires detect the exact location of the shock. The resulting heartbeat is sent back an intruder alarm to the Central Unit.

Fibre optic cable for intruder detection

FUNCTIONING OF A SHOCK DETECTOR BY FIBRE OPTIC

A special fibre optic cable is attached to the cladding. A light signal is transmitted in the fibre optic cable. During an attempted intrusion some vibrations created on the cable will disturb the light signal in the fibre.

The analysis of this disturbance allows for the detection of the intrusion.
