Le principe de d\u00e9clenchement d\u2019une alarme repose sur la d\u00e9tection intrusion simultan\u00e9e par au moins 2 des technologies dont l\u2019infrarouge. Un \u00e9ventuel d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 de 10\u00b0 maximum peut \u00eatre tol\u00e9r\u00e9 entre les colonnes. Les cellules \u00e9mettrices, composant la colonne \u00e9mission, g\u00e9n\u00e8rent un faisceau puls\u00e9 en direction de cellules r\u00e9ceptrices, composant la colonne r\u00e9ception, qui captent les impulsions infrarouges et les transforment en signal \u00e9lectrique. En cas d\u2019absence ou de variation du signal (perte de 95 % du signal \u00e9mis), une alarme intrusion est d\u00e9clench\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Afin d\u2019\u00e9viter que chaque cellule r\u00e9ceptrice ne soit perturb\u00e9e par le faisceau infrarouge de l\u2019ensemble des cellules \u00e9mettrices composant la colonne \u00e9mission, les cellules sont multiplex\u00e9es temporellement. Ce principe consiste \u00e0 \u00e9mettre une impulsion infrarouge de fa\u00e7on synchronis\u00e9e, par le biais d\u2019une liaison optique ou filaire entre les colonnes \u00e9mettrices et r\u00e9ceptrices.<\/p>\n<p>Cette liaison permet \u00e9galement de transmettre le niveau de signal \u00e0 la colonne \u00e9mission, ce qui optimise l\u2019alignement optique des cellules (fonction \u00ab retour d\u2019alignement \u00bb).
