Shock detection system for fences
EASY INSTALLATION: Little civil engineering required
EASY TO USE: Remote configuration, maintenance and updating
SUITABLE FOR ALL YOUR PAGES: Integration with VMS via API or MAXIBUS
Principle
G-FENCE is a shock detection system for outdoor fences that offers multiple simultaneous alarm detection modes. Alarm information is reported back either from dry contacts or from the RJ485 output to our MAXIBUS Universal or from the Modbus / API output. The Modbus / API output allows you to return information on your IP network for direct integration with VMS.
During an intrusion, the vibrations (climbing, cutting or tearing) caused on the fence are sensed by the accelerometers attached to the fence and transmitted to the MU, which analyzes the information and generates an alarm when the trigger threshold is reached.
To facilitate installation, the G-FENCE 2400 control unit can be remotely operated from inside the building where a 12 VDC power source is available. Because the system is designed to tolerate up to 200 m of inert cable between the control unit and the sensors. In addition, an integrated web server simplifies the maintenance of the G-FENCE 2400. The maintenance and remote setting of the sensitivity and the number of effects as well as a time-stamped history (with the location of the intrusion) are directly via an Ethernet connection.

Alarm output | Dry contacts, network output to MAXIBUS Universal, ModBus, API |
Operating Temperature | From -40°C up to + 70°C |
Electromagnetic compatibility | Compliant with European standards (label CE) |
Installation | 1 sensor per panel – up to total of 200 m of inert cable (per section of detection cable) |
Configuration | Sensitivity setting per sensor or per section / Number of impacts per zone setting |
Remote maintenance | Embedded web server |
It is important to install a detector cable in the middle of the fence panel with the supplied cableties and to fix a sensor by tightening one of the cable ties on the fence mesh.
To optimise the sensor’s detection, the sensor must be placed in the middle of the panel.
Entrances and gates: use at least a 0.6mm² standard cross-section cable with a maximum length of 200 m perentrance or gate.
To secure a fence and detect any intrusion attempt, a detector cable is installed on the fence. During an intrusion, the sensors will detect vibrations on the fence and send information to the Control Units, which in turn analyse the information received before triggering an alarm, or not.
The cable is pre-assembled with easy-to-install sensors helping to reduce installation costs.
