Which technology should you choose?
There is no technology that is more effective than the other, it all depends on your specific needs. In fact, for each site and according to its perimeter protection needs, one or several technologies can be combined. Leave this to our experts who will make an assessment based on several criteria:
- The level of expected security
- site typology
- Environmental constraints: saline, explosive…
Should the fence be changed?
We have effective fence instrumentalisation solutions: detector cables, fence extensions, fence electrification systems which adapt to your current installations. Our experts will know which ones suit your requirements by taking into account your detection need, site typology, environment and your budget.
Should you pair it up with video?
As soon as the perimeter intrusion detecting system emits alarm information, camera surveillance is launched. Thus, it allows to eliminate any doubts by generating an image of the detected area.
However, the visible cameras are only effective during the day, at a limited distance and in clear weather conditions. We have developed a tracking solution paired with thermal cameras, enabling effective detection, day as well as night, regardless of weather conditions.
What should you expect in terms of external works?
Based on the wiring of your site and by taking your budget into account, we offer you tailor-made solutions. We have developed a range of products that are powered by solar energy, by battery or only requiring one electrical point of supply. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further details.
What is the detection precision?
The detection area can be of different type: facade, roof, ground surface, on top of a wall, gate, access ladder, rampart walk…The detection precision will be defined based on your needs. Our expert will provide you with the technology that best suits your needs according to:
- The level of expected security
- site typology
- Environmental constraints: saline, explosive…
What happens if the cable/harness is cut?
As opposed to other shock detection cables on the market, the GFENCE range is made up of sensors with accelerometers placed in standard cables, thereby facilitating its installation. The placing of the intrusion alarm (attempt to cross) or the technical alarm (cutoff, damage, power supply) is very precise, down to the fence panel, namely every 2.5m.
Regarding infrared technology, the infrared columns are composed of emitters and receivers. The emitting cells generate an infrared light towards a receiving cell which senses infrared pulses and transforms them into electrical signals. In the case of absence of a signal or variation thereof, an alarm is triggered meaning that the infrared beam between the cells has been interrupted.
How to detect the passage of intruders over the gates?
The gate can be protected with an infrared barrier positioned at the top of the fence posts framing the gate. It is also possible to use infrared columns of height higher than that of the gate. One can also use linear barrier dual technology detectors on the gate or approach sensors.
What is the average duration of an installation?
The set up times below are given for information purposes only for the installation, supply and connection to the alarm station by professional technicians.
- Shock detection cables= 600m/day
- Infrared barriers = 600m/day
- Solaris= 1000m/day
- Fence electrification systems = 200m/day
- Dual technology detector = 4 detectors/day
- Thermal detector and video analysis = 5 detectors/day
Can I extend my current installation with the SORHEA products?
We have developed an alarm information concentrator which allows to connect SORHEA products with third party products. This concentrator is interfaced with the hypervision systems and the central alarm station, that are already set up.
Do I need an actual fence?
you do not have to be equipped with a fence prior to the installation of the perimeter intrusion detecting system. Your installer will advise you as to the most appropriate technology for you according to the configuration of your site. Nevertheless, a delimited and protected perimeter prevents disruptions such as vehicles and pedestrians on the public domain.
