COAL-FIRED POWER PLANT
Dangjin, South Korea.
A coal-fired power plant in Dangjin in South Korea wants to secure its site, and in particular access to its coal conveyor belt.
In recent years, there have been many accidents and measures to improve worker safety have become a major priority.

As a result, the Power Generation Technology Development Institute of the East-West Power Company has developed a «Conveyor Access Control System» that combines SORHEA active infrared barriers with ICT-based security technology since December 2019.
The conveyor access control system automatically sends an alarm when a worker approaches the operating conveyor belt, cutting the beams of the infrared barrier.
Our infrared barrier solution COLIRIS best suits the customer’s needs.
COLIRIS form a real infrared curtain, densified by the dual emitter / receiver function of the infrared cells.
