This week, SORHEA invites itself into the pages of PSM Magazine, specialist in all the news of safety and security, which highlights the enemy number one intrusion detection: false alarms!
“In the intrusion, the nerve of war is the ability to quickly raise a reliable alarm, while limiting the costs that can be induced by false alarms and nuisance tripping”
The ZONING function of the SORHEA active infrared barriers allows the creation of up to 3 detection zones (parameterizable in length) per barrier, allowing precise video control (alarm information per zone) and thus reinforcing the reliability of the site while maintaining a very high level of security.
Another technology used as a first bulwark for sensitive sites is the fencing shock detection cable. Thanks to the sensors, placed on the fence panels and connected to an electronic analysis unit, the precise localization of the intrusion is possible thanks to its integrated zoning function which allows to create up to 10 zones of detection per unit of management. This ensures a very low false alarm rate.
“With our ability to fine-tune awareness and zoning of our infrared barriers and shock-sensing cables, we are able to achieve very low false alarm rates.”
